General Information

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check In is at 3PM EST and Check out is 11AM EST

Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?

Is there a fee? Yes, when available. Our Loyalty program includes perks such as late check out and early check in when available and sometimes based on loyalty level. 

What is the hotel’s cancellation policy?

24 Hours before arrival unless stated otherwise on your reservation. Some reservation booking requirements have more specific cancellation policies.

Is the front desk staffed 24 hours a day?

Yes. 

What is the minimum age to check in?

Are there any additional fees or surcharges?

No.

What is the deposit and guarantee policy?

Some reservations may require deposits at the time of booking. In order to guarantee your reservation, we do require a valid credit card on file with an expiration date after the reservation check out date. Non-guaranteed reservations may be canceled by the hotel anytime if necessary.

What payment options are available?

We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover debit and credit cards. Cash or check is also accepted as long as a valid credit card is provided which will authorize for the full amount.

Security cameras, key-controlled access, limited floor access, night time security guard on property, and a gated parking lot with a well-lit exterior.

We are a 100% Non-Smoking facility. Please see the Front Desk for acceptable smoking areas nearby.

Are there accessible rooms available and what are the accessible features?

Yes, we are ADA compliant with guest rooms including mobility-accessible and hearing-accessible features such as spacious clearance, bed height and space, accessible hardware, visual alarms, door knock alerts, and communication devices such as TTY machines and closed-captioned televisions. Bathroom configurations include roll-in showers, grab bars, raised toilets and lowered sinks. We offer van-accessible parking, elevators, ramps, and accessible routes to our courtyard, fitness center, meeting spaces, and restaurant, as well as lowered check-in and coffee station desks.

Are the rooms pet-friendly?

Yes, all of our room options are pet-friendly. There is a mandatory pet fee per stay.

We offer single king bedrooms, rooms with two queen beds, or king bedroom suites which contain a separate adjoining living room.

What is the maximum occupancy, including children?

Standard rooms maximum occupancy is 4

Are cribs or rollaway beds available — and at what cost?

Yes, both are provided free of charge

What amenities are included in this room, and are any unique to each category?

Amenities include bath products, large color televisions, mini-fridges, coffeemakers, and laundry bags.

Yes. Breakfast is 7 days a week, starting at 6:30AM EST until 10:30AM M-F, 6:30AM EST until 11:00AM Sat & Sun

We host any and all kinds of events, from weddings and birthday parties, to corporate retreats, depositions, and meetings. We can accommodate small to large party sizes.

What is the maximum capacity for each event space?

Our variety of spaces can host event space sizes from 10 to 300 people

What audiovisual equipment is included, and what is available at an additional cost?

State-of-the-art audio visual equipment includes 85" Smart TVs and wireless mics are available. Full sound services are available upon request and will be quoted based on specific event needs.

Is catering required through the hotel, and what options are available?

We provide an onsite catering for up to 60 guests and maintain an approved list of outside caterers for larger parties.

Can outside vendors be used, and what restrictions or approval processes apply?

Outside vendors are allowed upon approval by the Event Manager. All preferred vendors must hold a business license in their state of operation, carry company liability insurance and provide 3 professional references and a copy of their contract.

What is the deposit structure and final payment timeline?

A 50% booking deposit is required to secure the venue space, and the remaining balance is due 24 hours prior to the event start time.

What internet and technology capabilities are available for meetings and events, including support for hybrid or virtual setups?

WIFI is available, however, additional meeting technical support and services are available and quoted by event.

Are outdoor event spaces available, and what is the contingency plan in case of inclement weather?

We have an outdoor patio available for wedding ceremonies, social and corporate meetings and events which includes a removable shade covering. In the event of inclement weather we have indoor dining spaces in addition to our private event space, The Rialto Room.

What are the closest attractions or points of interest?

 Downtown Athens as well as the historic UGA Campus

How far are you from the airport/downtown/beach/major landmarks?

We are over an hour from the Hartsfield Jackson airport in Atlanta GA, or 15 minutes from the Ben Epps airport in Athens

Is the hotel near public transportation?

How far is the hotel from the airport, and what transportation options are available (including approximate costs and travel times)?

We are over an hour from the Hartsfield Jackson airport in Atlanta GA, or 15 minutes from the Ben Epps airport in Athens. There are local shuttles and rideshare options available in town.

Is the hotel within walking distance of major attractions, and how easy is it to get around without a car?

Yes, the hotel is located in downtown Athens and only 5 blocks from the UGA Campus

What parking options are available on-site, and what are the costs (valet, self-parking, EV charging)?

We have self parking in our gated parking lot as well as garage with EV stations. Parking is $15/day

Does the hotel offer shuttle service, and what transportation options are available to and from the property?

We have a limited shuttle which must be scheduled via our events team in advance

What restaurants, shops, or attractions are within walking distance of the hotel?

Downtown Athens contains many popular local shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance of the hotel

How accessible is the hotel via public transportation, and how walkable is the surrounding area?

Very accessible

Is the hotel located in a quiet area, or in a more active neighborhood?

We are located on the quieter, northern side of Downtown Athens

Do you allow pets? What is your pet policy?

Yes, all of our room options are pet-friendly. There is a mandatory $85 pet fee per stay and all pets must be leashed when outside of the guest room.

Are there size or breed restrictions for pets?

Yes, we restrict pet size to be 45 pounds or under.

All pets must be leashed when outside of the guest room and are not allowed on public furniture.

Sentiment Challenges

Are there any current consumer sentiment challenges the property is facing (ie. lack of gym, lack of on-site restaurant, parking etc) that could be overcome?

We are 2 blocks away from the Classic Center where large conventions are held. Two other hotels are next to the convention center so are biggest challenge is overcoming proximity concerns guest may have in regards to major in-town events.
